 1 1|         divine office which Jesus Christ received from His Father
 2 1|     recall those assurances which Christ gave to the body of His
 3 1|           Teacher, the work which Christ Himself had begun in His
 4 2|          to follow the example of Christ, Our Saviour, the Prince
 5 2|          life for men except from Christ; and, secondly, to promote
 6 2|           undoubtedly the will of Christ that all should be united
 7 2|        God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ, according to the goodness
 8 3|         the Mother of God, and to Christ Himself, finally redounds
 9 4|           of all, we must look to Christ, the Founder of the Church
10 4|     writes: "This manner in which Christ was born of the Holy Ghost,
11 4|        only was the conception of Christ accomplished, but also the
12 4|        the sacrifice of Himself: "Christ, through the Holy Ghost,
13 4|       Ghost inundated the soul of Christ. In Him resided the absolute
14 4|      appeared at the Jordan, when Christ, by His baptism, consecrated
15 4|       would be absurd to say that Christ received the Holy Ghost
16 4| apparition of the Holy Ghost over Christ and by His invisible power
17 5|       gifts in the mystic body of Christ, by that miraculous outpouring
18 5| accomplished that last promise of Christ to His apostles of sending
19 6|           by that Blood wherewith Christ has redeemed Her. "The Holy
20 6|       according to those words of Christ to the Apostles: "Receive
21 6|         suffice to state that, as Christ is the Head of the Church,
22 6|         that is the Holy Ghost in Christ's body, the Church" (St.
23 7|       Spirit is so abundant, that Christ Himself, from whose gift
24 7|         the just who lived before Christ, the Holy Ghost resided
25 7|        derived from the merits of Christ who was to come, but the
26 7|           of the Holy Ghost after Christ was much more abundant,
27 7|            So soon, therefore, as Christ, "ascending on high," entered
28 7|           of the Holy Ghost after Christ's glorification was to be
29 8|           Ghost; for through Him "Christ was conceived in holiness
