3.2.1- Prayer, soul of the apostolate

That is what happens, especially, during the daily Eucharist: in the Body broken and the Blood poured out, the priest and consecrated persons each find their identity, their form and norm of life, but also the strength to carry it out. One cannot be nourished by the Body broken and Blood poured out without a real openness to break one’s own body and pour out one’s own blood. The breaking of the bread is the unveiling of the mystery of the life of the Son and of those who wish to be conformed to him in his death and resurrection, like an ongoing school where we learn the elementary logic of life, a gift received, which naturally tends to become a gift given, existence which will be full in death, gratitude which opens to gratuity. 18

OF is to enter daily more deeply into this Eucharistic perspective, letting ourselves really be educated and formed by it, deciding more every day to become bread broken and blood poured out, entering into a deeper syntony-synchrony with the passover of the Lamb.
