3.3- “My every desire is before you” (prayer accompanies)

 

Finally, it seems to me that prayer, in the logic of the rhythmic journey that we are proposing, can and must become a habitual climate and basic attitude of the consecrated person, like a faithful companion who directs the journey in the right direction. And above all, renders the formation continuous. Because a “spirit of prayer” (not simply prayer or prayers) is what makes it possible to find the right rhythm, like a natural balance between action and contemplation, between silence of the heart and familiar dialog with God, between listening and work, between work and rest, solitude and relationship, study and relaxation, desires and expectations of fulfillment…, making everything prayer and praise to the Most High, like a continuous staying before him. However, prayer is also what enables staying open to unexpected events and the unplannable, especially when there is a person or the good of a person in the middle of it, or a suffering or a request for help, making everything animated by love and putting love in first place, the one love for God and man.
