 2 5   |       Sovereign Pontiff and the French Government was, like all
 3 5   |        side and the Head of the French Nation on the other solemnly
 4 6   |        conveyed to it. Thus the French Government has not hesitated
 5 10  |    memories to the piety of the French people. For they are certainly
 6 11  |    confirmation of it. When the French Government assumed in the
 7 11  |         one condition: that the French Government should bind itself
 8 12  |         sorrow observe that the French Government has just done
 9 15  | indefatigable zeal of which the French Episcopate has, to its honor,
