In fine, the Republic - and this is harshest and 10 7 | greatest peril; but the Republic even interferes in the domestic 11 8 | it is not enough for the Republic, after having despoiled 12 8 | sacred functions. What the Republic in all this wants is plain; 13 9 | State in the Portuguese Republic. This law despises God and 14 10| public proclamation of the Republic is so tormented, are to 15 10| despoil and oppress, from the Republic, but from the Vicar of Christ.
