 1 1|     deplorable condition of the Indians in Lower America, our illustrious
 2 1| presumed to reduce the wretched Indians, without the light of faith,
 3 1|      has thus been done for the Indians, there is much more that
 4 4|  laboring for the saving of the Indians, will also assuredly give
 5 5| dioceses for the benefit of the Indians, and to see that other works
 6 6|  missionary stations, where the Indians can find safety and succor.
 7 6|         in order to deliver the Indians, where their need is greatest.
 8 6|       do for the benefit of the Indians, whether of your own accord
 9 6|      presume to reduce the said Indians to slavery, to sell them,
