 1  1,3|                         External Signs.~Several of the external
 2  1,3|          Several of the external signs of prayer are common to
 3  2,1| decorations, certain allegorical signs or symbols, intelligible
 4  2,4|     their characteristics, i.e., signs which allude to the contents
 5  3,2|       which rested on them, were signs of distinction conferred
 6  3,2|          the church vestments as signs of distinction. Those who
 7  3,2|        and bishops to whom these signs of distinction are granted,
 8  3,2|       various ways, are given as signs of distinction to all the
 9  9,1|          priest, who blesses it (signs it) in the name of the Lord,
10  9,5|         deacon the vestments and signs of his office: the Orarion,
11 11  |       his head, the Metropolitan signs it with the Cross, by laying
12 11  |       orb, which are the visible signs of the autocratic power
