1  8,1|       and in the thrice-repeated immersion of the Cross, to the chanting
2  8,1|          is shorter,* and at the immersion of the Cross the verse, “
3  9,1|         in Christ, does, through immersion, thrice performed with the
4  9,1|        with consecrated oil, the immersion of the person into the water,
5  9,1| performed by the thrice repeated immersion of the recipient of the
6  9,1|        Spirit, Amen.” During the immersion he who is baptized is turned
7  9,1|       sung immediately after the immersion: “Blessed are they whose
8  9,1|          rite by thrice repeated immersion, or even by aspersion or
9  9,2|         is performed by a single immersion, — by means of baptism.~
