2. Diversities of belonging linked to the charismatic diversity
The diversity of the bond with the Institute also depends on the nature of the Institute. A monastic community will preferably have a relationship with lay persons of a more spiritual and formative nature. A community dedicated to evangelization can inculcate a missionary spirit that makes the apostolic dimension proper to laity more active and can involve them also in certain typical evangelizing activity of the Institute. A community devoted to education or holiness or other assistance type activity can employ lay persons full-time in their works making them co-responsible. Especially in these last cases, the problem of methods of involvement arises.
