Season

 1 Spring|     her mellow melodies,~Each night she starts to chirp when
 2 Spring| always hide,~And only late at night resort to your sweet tunes?~
 3 Spring|      some event of note, each night tells to the world, ~And
 4 Spring|      the townsfolk dance each night and know no grief? ~Such
 5 Spring|     in many a painful day and night.~You know what happens when
 6 Spring|      us; ~The darkness of the night now is but brief and pale. ~
 7 Summer|   humble thanks to God, ~Each night turns to his bed in peace
 8 Summer|      heart he turns to bed at night. ~"When a fat lordling swears,
 9 Summer|    all of us in time; ~Many a night, because of us, you stayed
10 Summer|      bad that I would jump at night and scream, ~When horned
11 Summer|  ceased to jump and scream at night. ~"Now, let us fetch the
12 Summer|        Each morning, noon and night, and give your solemn thanks ~
13 Autumn|   Many a day we sweat, many a night we grieve; ~And all the
14 Winter|    with your friends. ~Many a night you've sneaked with us into
15 Winter|    blow that fell on him that night ~Might fall on some of us
16 Winter| having mislaid something, ~At night with a lit torch you search
17 Winter|     day and haunting him each night. ~And even his valet who
18 Winter|     day and could not rest at night.~At times he swore so much
19 Winter|       mad, ~That all the long night through he could not fall
