Season

 1 Spring| climbs a tree and kills the family. ~At times he to the flocks,
 2 Spring|  neighbors, men of home and family - ~You, stalwart breadwinners
 3 Spring|   proudly hails his growing family ~And, bowing low, presents
 4 Spring|    linen shirts for all her family, ~And saves the odds and
 5 Spring|    is not done? ~And so the family must go without a thread; ~
 6 Summer|    his home, ~Sends out his family to do the daily work. ~And
 7 Summer|    and cares, ~When his own family heeds not his words and
 8 Summer|   invite me too, and all my family, ~When you will entertain
 9 Autumn|  break the bough on which a family was born, ~And on which
10 Autumn|     or even his enlightened family, ~May read the Word of God,
11 Winter|    of his wife,~Then of his family, and then about his home. ~
