 1 9 |                         9. And Joseph, throwing away his axe,
 2 9 |       was no sign in them, and Joseph took his rod last; and,
 3 9 |      of the rod, and flew upon Joseph's head. And the priest said
 4 9 |         And the priest said to Joseph, Thou hast been chosen by
 5 9 |        virgin of the Lord. But Joseph refused, saying: I have
 6 9 |         And the priest said to Joseph: Fear the Lord thy God,
 7 9 | contradiction. And now fear, O Joseph, lest the same things happen
 8 9 |       happen in thy house. And Joseph was afraid, and took her

21 15|       hast thou done this? And Joseph said: As the Lord liveth,
22 15|     seed might be blessed. And Joseph was silent.~
