Better saith the poet:—~“Qui finem vitae extremum 8 2, XXIII| business and government. The poet saith, Nec vultu destrue 9 2, XXIII| sapiens (saith the comical poet) fingit fortunam sibi; and 10 2, XXIII| snares; and that which the poet expresseth,~“Dextra mihi 11 2, XXIII| regnaret.
