 2 2 |   Fathers.5 The fifth ecumenical Council, held at Constantinople,
 3 2 |        both in the first Lateran Council7 and in the sixth ecumenical
 4 2 |          in the sixth ecumenical Council, against the false charge
 5 4 |    period, and especially at the Council of Ephesus, he showed himself
 6 4 |     centenary of that ecumenical Council, and therefore it would
 7 5 |        the authority of the holy Council of Ephesus, it was due to
 8 15|       they kept the faith of the Council of Nicaea, St. Cyril, while
 9 17|        acting in his name at the Council of Ephesus, crushed and
10 17|           all the Fathers of the Council acclaimed it by solemn verdict
11 18|     condemned by an illegitimate council, and subjected to prison
12 31|  Venerable Brethren, that at the Council of Ephesus the Patriarch
13 31|         he presided at this holy Council, and he w as the first to
14 31|        the second session of the Council, the Fathers exclaimed: ~

16 33|       which the President of the Council, together with the other
17 43| acknowledge the authority of the Council of Chalcedon, because it
18 43|         were later issued by the Council of Chalcedon as new errors
