Chapter

 1 II  |        your sacrifices unto Me, saith the Lord? I am full of burnt-offerings,
 2 III |      fast to Me as on this day, saith the Lord, that your voice
 3 III |      have not chosen this fast, saith the Lord, that a man should
 4 III |    acceptable fast."21 To us He saith, "Behold, this is the fast
 5 III |        fast that I have chosen, saith the Lord, not that a man
 6 IV  |  received it. For the Scripture saith, "And Moses was fasting
 7 IV  |      welfare. For the Scripture saith, "Woe to them who are wise
 8 V   |         us; and [the Scripture] saith thus: "He was wounded for
 9 V   |        come. Now, the Scripture saith, "Not unjustly are nets
10 V   |       then, He endured. For God saith, "The stroke of his flesh
11 VI  | fulfilled the commandment, what saith He? "Who is he that will
12 VI  |            Behold these things, saith the Lord God: Enter into
13 VI  |       another prophet, "Behold, saith the Lord, I will take away
14 VI  |        to the Lord.76 For again saith the Lord, "And wherewith
15 IX  |         and our heart. The Lord saith in the prophet, "In the
16 IX  |     obeyed me."105 And again He saith, "By hearing, those shall
17 IX  |     circumcised in your hearts, saith the Lord."107 And again
18 IX  |        Israel, for these things saith the Lord thy God."108 And
19 IX  |       servant."109 And again He saith, "Hear, O heaven, and give
20 IX  |       in proof.112 And again He saith, "Hear the word of the Lord,
21 IX  |        people."113 And again He saith, "Hear, ye children, the
22 IX  |       angel deluded them.116 He saith to them, "These things saith
23 IX  |    saith to them, "These things saith the Lord your God"-(here117
24 IX  |             And again: "Behold, saith the Lord, all the nations
25 IX  |    letters. For [the Scripture] saith, "And Abraham circumcised
26 X   |         so]. Moreover, the Lord saith to them in Deuteronomy, "
27 XI  |       is removed."151 And again saith the prophet, "I will go
28 XI  |     rock."154 Furthermore, what saith He in reference to the Son? "
29 XI  |      the Lord."156 And again He saith in another prophet, "The
30 XI  |     recompense them. But now He saith,158 "Their leaves shall
31 XI  |          Again, another prophet saith, "And the land of Jacob
32 XII |         in another prophet, who saith,162 "And when shall these
33 XII |      accomplished? And the Lord saith, When a tree shall be bent
34 XII |         error of the wicked, he saith, "The Lord said unto my
35 XII |  footstool."183 And again, thus saith Isaiah, "The Lord said to
36 XIII|       ye now what the Scripture saith concerning the people. Isaac
37 XIV |       to the ends of the earth, saith the Lord God that redeemeth
38 XIV |          And again, the prophet saith, "The Spirit of the Lord
39 XVI |          Have not I? "230 "Thus saith the Lord, Heaven is My throne,
