Chapter

 1 IV  |        wonders were wrought in Israel, they were thus [at length]
 2 V   |       partly with reference to Israel, and partly to us; and [
 3 V   |       them. Moreover, teaching Israel, and doing so great miracles
 4 VI  |     the prophet speaks against Israel, "Woe to their soul, because
 5 VIII|    that a command was given to Israel, that men of the greatest
 6 VIII|        the twelve tribes102 of Israel. But why are there three
 7 IX  |        again He says, "Hear, O Israel, for these things saith
 8 XII |      of this164 in Moses, when Israel was attacked by strangers.
 9 XII |       hands,167 and thus again Israel acquired the mastery. But
10 XII | destroyed on the cross171 when Israel was failing. For since transgression
11 XVI |       temple and the people of Israel were to be given up. For
