 1 I  |  fortune to have very early in life fallen in with certain tracks
 2 I  |       the brief duration of my life will permit me to reach. ~
 3 I  |  followed, and to delineate my life as in a picture, in order
 4 I  |       of all that is useful in life might be acquired, I was
 5 I  | discriminate the right path in life, and proceed in it with
 6 II |   succeed in the conduct of my life, than if I built only upon
 7 II |     and continue to wander for life; in the second place, of
 8 II |     early as during my college life, that no opinion, however
 9 II |    reason in the conduct of my life. ~But like one walking alone
10 III|     occupations of men in this life, with the view of making
11 III|     viz., in devoting my whole life to the culture of my reason,
12 III|   could not be enjoyed in this life; and as by its means I daily
13 V  |      in all the occurrences of life, in the way in which our
14 V  |   consequently that after this life we have nothing to hope
15 VI |     knowledge highly useful in life; and in room of the speculative
16 VI |      all the blessings of this life, the first and fundamental
17 VI |    designed to employ my whole life in the search after so necessary
18 VI |     either by the shortness of life or the want of experiments,
19 VI |       give publicity during my life to no other that was so
