1 INT | this hath the Church of Christ received as a tradition
2 I | that one of the company of Christ's Twelve Apostles, most
3 I | Apostle, were made members of Christ's household by Baptism,
4 I | advanced in the grace of Christ, and grew in number beyond
5 I | lay down their lives for Christ his sake, and yearning for
6 I | Name of God, and naught but Christ was on their lips, as they
7 I | that life which is hid in Christ. Wherefore many, profiting
8 II | thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord that he delivered
9 II | power to live and breathe, Christ Jesus, the Lord of all;
10 III | bare mention of the tale of Christ and his doctrines. For he
11 IV | narrow and strait road, for Christ his sake, neither dread
12 VII | is my Master, it is Jesus Christ the Lord, the only-begotten
13 VII | death. So our Lord Jesus Christ, being without sin, was
14 VII | failed him by the power of Christ. Lo, in few words I have
15 VIII | said that our Lord Jesus Christ chose them for disciples
16 VIII | Then, after long seasons, Christ our God shall come to judge
17 IX | our Lord and Master Jesus Christ himself confirmed both by
18 IX | also received, how that Christ died for our sins according
19 IX | to the Scriptures. Now if Christ be preached that he rose
20 IX | dead rise not, then is not Christ raised. And if Christ be
21 IX | not Christ raised. And if Christ be not raised, your faith
22 IX | life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most
23 IX | most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead and
24 IX | Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.'
25 IX | on the dreadful day of Christ's coming, `wherein the heavens
26 IX | hasten not to the faith of Christ, but continue in idolatry
27 X | him: and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things
28 XI | bear false witness:' but Christ saith 'Whosoever is angry
29 XI | man to forswear himself, Christ commanded him to swear not
30 XI | But, seek ye first,' saith Christ, `the kingdom of God, and
31 XI | of the loving-kindness of Christ, who for our sins shed his
32 XI | parables of our Lord Jesus Christ. For it saith, `From that
33 XI | after his holy resurrection Christ made good this three-fold
34 XI | wrought by the blood of Christ, in the greatness of his
35 XII | themselves, for the name of Christ, to kings and tyrants that
36 XII | Angels, and fellow-heirs with Christ. Their virtue shone so bright
37 XII | keeping of the commandments of Christ, and that the keeping of
38 XII | imitators of the sufferings of Christ, and become partakers of
39 XII | Body and precious Blood of Christ, which the Lord gave to
40 XII | but for him, to whom, for Christ his sake, they have become
41 XII | more for themselves, but Christ liveth in them, whom to
42 XIV | thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord; for the law of
43 XIV | of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free
44 XV | shoulders, shalt follow Christ without looking back, that
45 XV | their Cross and followed Christ, some being made perfect
46 XV | that this is a command of Christ our King and God, which
47 XV | so shineth the light of Christ on all men abundantly, imparting
48 XVI | of God, and reigning with Christ world without end.' ~"'And
49 XVI | only true God, and Jesus Christ, his only-begotten Son,
50 XVII | Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ our Lord himself being the
51 XVII | the holy Apostle, that had Christ speaking within him, after
52 XVIII | longer to the flesh, but Christ liveth in me; and the life
53 XVIII | perfect life, which is hid in Christ, in desire to obtain which
54 XVIII | desire to depart and be with Christ.' And the prophet saith, `
55 XVIII | fulfilling of the commandments of Christ; but when the Giver of all
56 XVIII | thee to receive the seal of Christ. Make thee ready now; and,
57 XVIII | but dung, if only they win Christ, who have laid aside all
58 XVIII | disobedience, and put on Christ as a coat of salvation and
59 XIX | moved to receive the seal of Christ, and be signed with the
60 XIX | kept the commandments of Christ, and have departed this
61 XIX | the spotless Mysteries of Christ, believing in truth that
62 XIX | are the Body and Blood of Christ our God, which he hath given
63 XIX | the salvation of our race, Christ the God and Saviour of the
64 XIX | the undefiled Mysteries of Christ: and Ioasaph rejoiced in
65 XIX | spirit, giving thanks to Christ his God. ~Then said Barlaam
66 XIX | Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his
67 XIX | away, reserved in heaven in Christ Jesus our Lord by the Holy
68 XIX | heir of God through Jesus Christ in the Holy Ghost. Wherefore,
69 XIX | stature of the fulness of Christ: that thou mayest henceforth
70 XIX | punishments: and we know that Christ, with the Father and the
71 XX | our God, and hast put on Christ by the grace of the Holy
72 XX | with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish
73 XXI | Father of our Lord Jesu Christ, which didst illuminate
74 XXI | and Might, our Lord Jesu Christ, by whom thou didst make
75 XXII | he had altogether become Christ's. Moreover he gave the
76 XXII | driven forth by the grace of Christ, he avoideth us; but amongst
77 XXIII | claim; for to us to live is Christ, and to die for him is the
78 XXIII | another to meet death for Christ his sake undaunted. ~In
79 XXIV | and joined the service of Christ, the Son and Word of God
80 XXIV | false to my covenant with Christ; no, I swear it by him that
81 XXIV | and join the household of Christ, and so thou shalt gain

88 XXVII | knowledge; for they deny Christ the Son of God, and are
89 XXVII | line from the Lord Jesus Christ. He is confessed to be the
90 XXVII | commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ himself engraven on their
91 XXVII | but after the spirit. For Christ his sake they are ready
92 XXVII | eternal kingdom promised by Christ in the life to come. ~"And
93 XXVIII | be thou zealous to gain Christ only, and the life that
94 XXVIII | confirm it in the faith of Christ, saying, "Let no doubt about
95 XXVIII | and become servants of Christ, who, in the exceeding greatness
96 XXVIII | Nachor, promising him that Christ was merciful, and pledging
97 XXVIII | look fully at the light of Christ, for the dense cloud of
98 XXVIII | wholly on the commands of Christ for whom he yearned, his
99 XXVIII | and brought safely unto Christ; for many resorted unto
100 XXX | the soldier of the army of Christ. But the wretch little knew
101 XXX | present himself pure unto Christ, and not defile in the mire

103 XXX | have once made promise to Christ to be virgins. For myself,
104 XXX | to present myself pure to Christ, and how shall I dare break
105 XXX | lept on that soldier of Christ, disquieting all the powers
106 XXX | where Barlaam the servant of Christ hath his dwelling, and with

145 XXXVII | purpose (for Ioasaph set Christ before his mind, and glowed
146 XXXVII | strengthened with the might of Christ. Let mine enemies be ashamed
147 XXXVII | strong in the might of Christ, went on his way rejoicing
148 XXXVIII| comfort came to him from Christ, and, asleep or awake, refreshed
149 XXXVIII| heavenly kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, whom thou lovest,
150 XXXVIII| love thee! Glory to thee, O Christ, King of all and God all-good,
151 XXXIX | answer to my prayer for thee, Christ promised me that I should
152 XXXIX | of the world, united to Christ, thy mind never wavering,
153 XXXIX | years, to be for ever with Christ, is even now being fulfilled,
154 XXXIX | strong in the grace of Christ, confidently laugh at the
155 XXXIX | the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, according to the
156 XXXIX | thought to the obedience of Christ. And the peace of God which
157 XXXIX | thy heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus." ~When blessed Barlaam
158 XXXIX | the undefiled Mysteries of Christ, he rejoiced in the Spirit.
159 XXXIX | the gladness that is in Christ, because thou hast exchanged
160 XL | with boldness confessed Christ before kings and tyrants,
161 XL | overcome all in the strength of Christ. Partaking richly of the
162 XL | they were already come. Christ was his recompense for all:

169 XL | ever in the fair beauty of Christ, into whose hands he commended
170 XL | whom this story telleth, in Christ Jesu our Lord; to whom belongeth
