Thus then did Ioasaph receive the power of kingship; 60 XXXIII | And all, who for fear of Ioasaph's father had been shut up 61 XXXIII | multitudes flocked to King Ioasaph, desirous to be instructed 62 XXXIII | for God. For these King Ioasaph dedicated the riches and 63 XXXIII | little while, the fame of Ioasaph was blazoned abroad; and 64 XXXIII | truth. And the house of Ioasaph grew and waxed strong, but 65 XXXIV | the prayer of his servant Ioasaph), it pleased the king to 66 XXXIV | morrow he wrote a letter to Ioasaph, running thus: ~"King Abenner 67 XXXIV | to his well-beloved son Ioasaph, greeting. And Ioasaph recognised his spiritual 90 XXXVIII| questioned Barlaam, and Ioasaph answered, telling him piece 91 XXXVIII| I sowed in the heart of Ioasaph, thy servant, should thus 92 XXXVIII| the hour of prayer. ~So Ioasaph abode with Barlaam for some 93 XXXIX | XXXIX. ~Thus did Barlaam and Ioasaph dwell together, rivals in 94 XXXIX | Long ago, dearly beloved Ioasaph, was it destined that thou 95 XXXIX | blessed Barlaam had so said, Ioasaph's tears knew no measure, 96 XXXIX | of this desert." ~While Ioasaph spake thus in tears, the 97 XXXIX | did the old man comfort Ioasaph's anguished soul. Then Ioasaph said unto him, as he was 109 XL | with light supernal." Again Ioasaph thought he asked Barlaam 110 XL | companion for ever." Hereupon Ioasaph awoke out of sleep, but 111 XL | upholden me." For verily Ioasaph's soul clave to Christ, 112 XL | power of vision. ~Thus did Ioasaph spend his days, and render 113 XL | about the very hour of Ioasaph's death, there came by divine 114 XL | that once pointed out to Ioasaph his way to Barlaam. This 115 XL | Barlaam, and this blessed Ioasaph.
