1 II | he spake unto him thus: ~"O thou dullard and mad man,
2 II | If it be thy pleasure, O king, to converse with me,
3 II | hermit answered and said, "O king, if thou askest the
4 II | that deceives, whereon, O king, thine heart alas!
5 II | true good, from which thou, O king, art miserably sundered
6 II | these? When we see thee, O king, the rather forgetting
7 III | the courses of the stars, O king, the advancement of
8 IV | answered in his simplicity, "O king, live for ever! Good
9 IV | communing with me yesterday, O king. Behold, I am ready
10 IV | victuals." "Well spoken, O king," cried the monks. "
11 VI | thus: "It is not fitting, O prince, that I should say
12 VI | seeing him in tears, said, `O fool, and slow of understanding,
13 IX | swallowed up in victory. O death where is thy sting?
14 IX | death where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?'

78 XXXIV | and ever. Great art thou O Lord, and marvellous-worthy
79 XXXIV | eternal and immortal. Behold, O Lord, with favourable and
80 XXXV | thou so full of heaviness, O my father, and wily art
81 XXXV | wool.' Fear not, therefore, O my father, neither be of
82 XXXV | and said, "Into thy hands, O God, thou lover of men,
83 XXXV | aloud unto God saying, ~"O God, I thank thee, King
84 XXXV | lover of souls. And now, O my Lord and God, whose ocean
85 XXXVI | of idols, and freed you, O my people, from cruel captivity.
86 XXXVI | reject his offer, saying, "O king, how wrongful is thy
87 XXXVII | longeth my soul after time, O God. My soul is athirst
88 XXXVII | the ascetic life, crying, "O my Christ, my soul is fixed

95 XL | away, and forsake me not, O God my Saviour, because
96 XL | forsake me; but do thou, O Lord, take me up. Teach
97 XL | me up. Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in the
98 XL | even from my mother's womb. O go not from me, because,
