Chapter
1 IV | divine providence, as I believe, he found a man in a covert,
2 VII | therein is, he could not believe that it had been created,
3 VIII | that thou hast told me I believe without question, and him
4 VIII | knowledge in simple faith, believe thou undoubtingly, that
5 IX | of the dead, and this we believe undoubtingly. Moreover we
6 IX | Saviour who hath taught us to believe the resurrection of the
7 X | certain disciple. But I believe that thou hast heard the
8 X | past and gone: and never believe the word that passeth belief.
9 X | which, I bade thee never believe a word past belief, and
10 X | hairs. If then thou shalt believe and be baptized, thou shalt
11 X | shalt be saved; but if thou believe not, thou shalt be damned.
12 XI | believed them and still believe them; and I hate all idolatry
13 XI | sufficient for salvation, to believe and be baptized, or must
14 XI | therefore it is, and thus we believe. But after receiving the
15 XII | with fervent zeal, there we believe him to be present in the
16 XVII | his power to us-ward who believe; that thou mayest be no
17 XIX | Ghost, the giver of life. Believe thou therefore in the Father,
18 XIX | and cannot declare it. ~"Believe thou that the Son of God,
19 XIX | ascending into heaven); and believe that he shall come again,
20 XIX | into eternal punishment. Believe not that there is any true
21 XIX | on such an absurdity! but believe rather that it is `the work
22 XIX | them for all that should believe on him, saying, `Take, eat:
23 XIX | of God, even to them that believe on his name.' Wherefore
24 XIX | hearest that unto them that believe on his name he hath given
25 XXXIV| with him; and thence, we believe that he shall come again,
