Canon 1299

1. If in the text of the sentence either an error in calculation has crept in, or a material error has occurred in transcribing the dispositive section, or reporting the facts or the

petitions of the parties, or if the points required by can. 1295,

4 were omitted, the sentence must be corrected or completed at

the request of the parties or ex officio by the tribunal which

issued the sentence; the parties, moreover, must always be heard

and a decree appended at the bottom of the sentence. 2. If any

party objects, the incidental question is to be settled by decree.
