Canon 1311

1. An appeal must be filed before the judge who pronounced the

sentence within the peremptory time limit of fifteen available

days (tempus utile) from notification of the publication of the

sentence. 2. If it is made orally, the notary is to put it in

writing in the presence of the appellant.
