basis for petitioning may not be admitted at the appellate level

not even by way of helpful cumulation; consequently, the joinder

of issues (litis contestatio) can focus only on whether the prior

sentence is to be confirmed or revised, either totally or partially. 2. Moreover, new proofs are admitted only in accordance

with the norm of can. 1283.
