Canon 1332

1. The opponent in any case must prove that his or her right

has been truly damaged or is going to be damaged. 2. The damage must derive from the sentence itself, insofar as it constitutes its cause or, if execution is ordered, as it is going to

affect the opponent with a serious prejudice.
