Canon 1435

1. If the penalty forbids the reception of sacraments or sacramentals, the prohibition is suspended while the guilty party is

in danger of death. 2. If the penalty forbids the administration of sacraments or sacramentals or the placing of an act or

governance, the prohibition is suspended whenever this is necessary to provide for the needs of the Christian faithful who are

in danger of death.
