Canon 1487

1. Recourse against the decree by which a penalty is imposed

can be made to the competent higher authority within ten available days (tempus utile) after it has been communicated. 2.

This recourse suspends the force of the decree. 3. There is no

further recourse against the decision of the higher authority.
