Canon 1546

1. The day from which the computation is to be made is not

counted in the total, unless the beginning of the reckoning coincides with the beginning of the day or unless the law expressly

provides otherwise. 2. The day to which the calculation is

directed, is counted in the total, in such a way that, if the

total consists of one or more months or years, or of one or more

weeks, the terminus is reached at the end of the last day of the

same number or, if the month lacks a day of the same number, at

the end of the last day of the month.
