Canon 62

A patriarch who has resigned from his office retains his title

and honors especially during liturgical celebrations and has the

right that a dignified residence be assigned to him with his consent and that appropriate to his title he be provided with the

means for his support, with due regard for the norm on precedence

in can. 60, 2.
