Canon 353

According to the norm of particular law, there are to be exercises and tests strengthening pastoral formation, in such areas as

social or charitable service, catechetical instruction, but especially in the pastoral internship during philosophical-theological formation, and in the diaconal internship before ordination to the presbyterate.
