Canon 356

1. The rector is to send a report on the formation of the students each year to the eparchial bishop or, if the situation is

such, to the major superior; but concerning the status of the

seminary, to those who established it. 2. The eparchial bishop

or major superior is to visit the seminary frequently for consultation concerning the formation of his students especially if

there is a question concerning those to be promoted to sacred

orders.
