Canon 395

A cleric who loses the clerical state according to the norm of

the law, loses with it the rights proper to the clerical state

nor is he further bound by the obligations of the clerical state

without prejudice, however, to can. 396; he is forbidden to exercise the power of order without prejudice to cann. 725 and 735,

2; he is by the law itself deprived of all offices, ministries,

functions and any delegated power.
