Canon 417

If abuses have crept into houses of institutes of patriarchal or

of pontifical right or in their churches, and the superior,

warned by the local hierarch, has failed to take care of it, the

same local hierarch is obliged to defer the matter without delay

to the attention of the authority to which the institute is

immediately subject.
