Canon 550

A member, who is unlawfully absent from the house of their own

order or congregation with the intention of withdrawing from the

power of superiors, is to be solicitously sought after by the

same superiors; if, however, within the time prescribed by the

statutes, he does not return, he is to be punished according to

the norm of law or even dismissed.
