Canon 636

1. Catechetical formation in any school whatever is subject to

the authority and vigilance of the eparchial bishop. 2. It is

also his responsibility to name or approve the teachers of Catholic religion as well as to remove them or demand their removal,

if necessary for reasons of faith or morals.
