Canon 750

1. With due regard for cann. 472, 537, and 560, 1, the following can give dimissorial letters: (1) the proper eparchial

bishop; (2) the administrator of a patriarchal Church and also,

with the permission of the eparchial consultors, the administrator of an eparchy. 2. The administrator of a patriarchal

Church is not to grant dimissorial letters to those who were rejected by the patriarch, nor the administrator of eparchy to

those who were rejected by the eparchial bishop.
