Canon 803

1. Marriage with a non-baptized person cannot validly be celebrated. 2. If at the time of the celebration of the marriage

the party was commonly held to be baptized or his or her baptism

was doubtful, the validity of the marriage is to be presumed, according to the norm of can. 779, until it is proven with certainty that one party was baptized and the other was not. 3. Concerning the conditions for dispensing, can. 814 is to be applied.
