Canon 851

1. A marriage cannot be radically sanated if consent is lacking

in either or both the parties, whether the consent was lacking

from the beginning or was given in the beginning but afterwards

revoked. 2. If, however, consent was indeed lacking in the beginning but afterwards was given, a sanation can be granted from

the moment the consent was given.
