Canon 854

1. A marriage entered by two non-baptized persons is dissolved

by means of the pauline privilege in favor of the faith of a party who has received baptism by the law itself when a new marriage

is celebrated by the party who has been baptized, provided the

non-baptized party departs. 2. The non-baptized party is considered to depart, if he or she does not wish to cohabit in peace

with the baptized party without insult to the Creator, unless,

after receiving baptism, the baptized party gave the other party

a just cause for departure.
