Canon 937

1. One who sets up an office must see that the means required

for its fulfillment are available and that the just remuneration

of those who carry out the office is provided for. 2. The particular law of each Church sui iuris is to determine in greater

detail how these requirements are to be put into effect, unless

provision has already been made for certain matters by common

law.
