Canon 1019

Immovable property, precious movable property, that is, those

things which are especially important due to artistic, historical

or material value, personal or real rights and claims, which belong to the Apostolic See, are prescribed after a period of one

hundred years; those which belong to some Church sui iuris or to

an eparchy are prescribed after a period of fifty years; those

which belong to another juridic person are prescribed after a

period of thirty years.
