Canon 1079

A party can be brought into court: (1) in cases which concern

administration before the tribunal of the place where the administration was conducted; (2) in cases which concern inheritances

or pious legacies before the tribunal of the last domicile,

quasi-domicile or place of residence of the person whose inheritance or pious legacy is the object of the action, with due regard for can. 1075, 2 unless it is a question of the mere execution of a legacy, which is to be examined according to the

ordinary norms of competence.
