Canon 1129

1. Unless the particular law of the Church sui iuris provides

otherwise, while cases are being tried before a tribunal only

those persons are to be present in court whom the law or the

judge decides are necessary to expedite the process. 2. After

giving a warning in vain, a judge can punish with appropriate

penalties all who assist at the trial and who are seriously lacking in the respect and obedience owed the tribunal; the judge can

also suspend advocates and procurators from exercising their

function before ecclesiastical tribunals.
