Canon 1133

1. At the completion of the trial documents which belong to

private individuals must be returned but a copy of them is to be

retained. 2. The chancellor and notaries are forbidden to

furnish a copy of judicial acts and of documents which have been

acquired for the process without a mandate from the judge. 3.

Anonymous letters are to be destroyed and mention is not to be

made of them in the acts; likewise signed writings and letters

which add nothing to the merits of the case or are certainly

calumnious are to be destroyed.
