Canon 1140

1. A party can appoint only a single procurator who cannot substitute another for himself unless written permission has been

granted the procurator to do this. 2. But if several procurators are appointed by the same party for some just cause, they

are to be so designated that prevention is operative among them.

3. However, several advocates can be appointed to act together.
