Canon 1158

1. A person who through at least probable arguments, has demonstrated a right to something retained by another and the threat

of damage if that thing is not placed in safe keeping, has the

right to obtain its sequestration from the judge. 2. In similar circumstances a person can obtain an order restraining another from exercising a right.
