Canon 1180

1. Unless the arbitration sentence is null because of their own

grave fault, the arbitrators have the right to be reimbursed for

expenses; they may even demand appropriate security for this.

2. It is recommended that the arbitrators offer their services

gratuitously; otherwise, provision for compensation is to be made

in the compromise agreement.
