Canon 1182

1. An appeal from an arbitration sentence is allowed only if

the parties had agreed in writing that it would be subject to

such a remedy; in which case, the appeal is to be lodged before

the judge who issued the decree of confirmation within ten days

of its notification; if, however, another judge is competent to

receive the appeal, the matter is to be brought before him within

one month. 2. An arbitration sentence against which an appeal

is admitted becomes an adjudged matter (res iudicata) according

to the norm of can. 1322.
