Canon 1192

1. Notification of citations, decrees, sentences and other

judicial acts are to be made through the public postal services,

with an acknowledgement of receipt card, or through another

method which is the safest, observing particular law. 2. The

fact and method of notification must be clear in the acts. 3.

A respondent who refuses to accept the document of citation or

who prevents its arrival is considered as having been legitimately cited.
