Canon 1260

1. The judge is to weigh attentively not only the conclusions

of the experts, even when they are concordant, but also the other

circumstances of the case. 2. In giving the reasons for the

decision, the judge must express what considerations prompted him

or her to admit or reject the conclusions of the experts.
